PS3 Update 3.42 Release for Faithul Sony Fans

As was speculated by many faithful Sony fans and Gamersmint aswell, Sony has done just what every honest PS3 gamer expected from it. We can confirm that update 3.42 blocks any PS3 which has the PSJAILBREAK exploit in place from accessing PSN or playing games which require this update. It totally makes their PS3 “useless“.

Sony just released its 3.42 software update for PlayStation 3 owners. As a mandatory update, PS3 jockeys must accept it if they want to continue accessing the PlayStation Network or PlayStation Store. While Sony's American mouthpiece isn't saying much about the release, Sony Japan says that it fixes a "hardware security issue," and that's it.

The update has no other ‘new features’ and it was just a single revision update so it probably is just sony’s first swing at psgroove (besides the legal actions).
